Indie WWII bomber simulator

Bomber Crew is a WWII bomber simulator. Assemble a crew, develop a plane and run missions over Nazi occupied Europe during the real world events of the war.

Take to the sky

With a graphical style similar to Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon, Bomber Crew may initially seem like a fun light-hearted title. Just beneath the surface, however, is a deeply engaging and stressful strategy game dealing with grim historical events and death. Players start with a basic bomber and rookie crew and start to receive missions. These missions vary, but generally involve taking off from England, fighting off German attack planes, bombing a target and returning to base. On a successful return, money and resource points are earned which are put into upgrades for plane and personnel such as better guns or oxygen masks for higher elevation flying. Combat is tense and impactful thanks to the constant need to move crew members around and the always present risk of death. Crew members can be killed, causing players to manage their need to complete missions with the risk of losing progress. Bomber Crew, despite a lack of varied content, is a great strategy game with hints of Faster Than Light.

Solid creation

Bomber Crew is a real achievement for an indie title. Thought and decision making are constantly required, the difficulty ramps well and the overall art design becomes charming.
